What is PlanitEats?
We started as the Healthy Grille in 2002 and we have switched to an online platform in 2015. PlanitEats is dedicated to teaching our customers not only what to eat, but how to eat. We offer grab and go options that are sugar free, dairy free, gluten free, and non GMO available at any of our retail stores, along with convenient delivery options to help take the stress out of eating right. We also offer services such as metabolic testing where we can help create a meal plan designed specifically for you whether your goal is to lose weight, maintain weight, or gain weight, we will get you there.

Can I walk into a store without pre-ordering a meal?
Yes! You do not have to pre-order a meal to come into any of our retail locations and purchase a meal. We are always stocked with a variety of meals for customers to purchase and enjoy, so come on in and check us out!

Can I pick up my food instead of delivery?

Yes you can. You can pick up your food at 211 Middle Road Acushnet, MA 02743 between the hours of 9am-12pm and 5pm-7pm. Special arrangements can be made if necessary. You can also pick up your pre-ordered meals in our Dartmouth location at 77 State Rd. on Monday or Tuesday between 11am and 6pm. You can also pick up your pre-ordered meals at out Fall River location at 179 President Ave on Monday and Tuesday between 10am and 7pm.

Why pre-order online?
There are several benefits to pre-ordering online. You save time, as you can walk into any of our locations to grab and go. You can also customize your meals with online pre-ordering which is unavailable at our grab and go locations. Preorder a minimum of 10 meals a week and save 10% on your entire order! Delivery is also an option for those who are too busy to stop by and grab their meals!

What is the window for ordering?
The cut off is Thursday before by midnight. This ensure Monday or Tuesday (Fedex) delivery or Sunday in store pick up.

When do you deliver?
We deliver on Mondays between 9 a.m. ­ 6 p.m. Delivery times vary depending on our delivery driver’s route optimization ­ special arrangements can be made on an individual basis depending on requirements. If you are out of our range, fedex will deliver to you.

Do I have to be home to receive my delivery?
No, we offer a convenient Cooler Rotation Program which allows the customer to not have to be home for delivery.

What is the Cooler Rotation Program?
The Cooler Rotation program is designed to allow busy customers the convenience of not having to be home to receive their delivery. The Cooler Rotation program is a one time fee of $25.00 so at times you are not home for your delivery a Planit Eats cooler will be left on your doorstep with ice packs that guarantee freshness for up to 48 hours. Once you receive the first delivery with your cooler and ice packs every time you will not be home for your delivery the cooler must be left in the designated delivery location with the re­frozen ice packs (that you store in your freezer during the week) in order for us to safely load your delivery into the cooler.

Is there a delivery fee?
Yes, the delivery fee varies by location. To find out the cost of your delivery, go online to menu, ​place a “fake” order as though you were going to pay for at checkout, prior to check out, after picking your items, you will then be able to pick your delivery location and see the cost of delivery.

Can I customize my order?
Yes, the entire menu is customizable. We can accommodate food allergies and most requests. If you are on a low carb diet for example, we can swap out your brown rice or quinoa for double vegetables.

Do you have gluten free options?
Yes, the entire menu is gluten free.

How much do the meals cost?
Most meals are $10.00 with the exception of our seafood and steak meals which are $12.00 and $13.00

Do you have vegan and vegetarian options on your menu?
We currently offer several Vegan meals and we are always working on expanding our vegetarian ­friendly menu!

Is the food fresh or frozen?
Our food is always delivered fresh, never frozen.

How long does the food last once delivered?
All meals are labeled with a freeze by date, they will typically last two weeks in the freezer.

Can meals be frozen?
Most meals can be frozen. We don’t recommend freezing the salads, seafood meals or sirloin.

What is the best way to heat my meals?
The meals come in microwave safe containers, if you choose this option, depending on the wattage of your microwave, the cooking time may vary, so keep an eye on it to prevent over cooking, we recommend starting with 90 seconds. Make sure to remove the lid. Another heating option is to transfer the food from its original container onto an oven safe plate or dish and heat it either in your oven, toaster oven or our recommendation ­ a convection countertop oven, at 400 degrees and check after 5 minutes, additional time may be required.

Is there a commitment for ordering?
There is no sign up or commitment, order week to week or whenever is convenient for you. However, you can choose to sign up for recurring weekly delivery.

If I request a custom meal plan, do I choose my meals or do you choose them for me?
You have the option to pick your meals or choose the chef’s choice (we pick them for you).

Is there a minimum requirement for delivery?
The minimum requirement for delivery is 3 meals or $30 before tax and delivery fees.

How do I get started?
Simply go to the menu and choose at least 3 meals or $30 worth of food,continue the steps to checkout where you will purchase your order.

What programs do you offer?
We offer programs targeting Weight loss, Weight gain, meal plans designed for lower sugar intake and cholesterol control. We also offer Nutritional Assessments and Metabolic testing to help individuals gauge where they are in their fitness journey and help them meet their goals.
